Zusi - the train simulator |  |
Zusi - the train simulator offers a range of train routes which can be explored by
engine or rail car from the driver's perspective. The train is mainly steered with the keyboard, certain
functions can be controlled with the mouse. The screen works as the front window of the loco or rail car.
The programme's quality is the simulation of the safety technique. All current signal systems in the
Federal Republic of Germany with their point-to-point train induction (PZB) are implemented, as well as the signal system from
Austria, and from Switzerland, though you find the continuous automatic train-running control (LZB). Of course the safety
button (dead-man's switch) needs to be used every 30 seconds.
