Seen from Cologne this tunnel is the last one on TTN 474 before you arrive in Trier. Maybe the constructors didn't have enough money to build a nice northern portal for this Kuckuckslay Tunnel as for all others on the track.

The southern protal is not nicer, though it is difficult to see it.
